64 Independent Home Shops/Brands on My Radar

Let's support small businesses while acquiring unique decor to create a singular home

I’ve been collecting sources for unique homewares — up-and-coming (and long-established) brands, vintage re-sellers, curated shops — and I’m sharing them all with you!

I believe home decor with character is key to creating a collected, personal home where one can thrive and make every day special. But, one of the biggest obstacles is actually identifying where to buy it.

I started Sense of Spencer, in part, to solve the sourcing problem I had myself — so many of the of the cool brands and interesting pieces I liked were in Europe. I figure I’m not alone in this. We all know the mainstream retailers, but it’s much harder to discover the niche brands, shops, and makers. Precisely because of that, even those of us with the best intentions might default to what we know, at the expense of finding things that are truly special and patronizing small businesses that really need our support to continue offering these options.
