My home is very neutral -- white, greys, sage greens, and wood, so I like to bring a pop of color in botanical prints on pillows and throws. This one is just gorgeous. It is surprising how much cheer and dimension just a small pop of color can bring to a room.

Schumacher Rose Pink Khilana Floral Decorative Pillow Cover | from $66

I grew several different flavors of mint in my garden this summer and we made all sorts of lemonades, teas and fruit drinks. This pitcher is delightful and would have made all the pouring even sweeter!

Catalina Large Pitcher | $58

I absolutely love the patterns and colors on this wool rug. It is amazing how much warmth an area rug can bring to a space.

Tolland Kilim Woven Wool Rug | from $108

I love etched glass and I love having mixed color glasses. For drinks at home, I don't think there is anything more depressing than a basic wine glass. I like to pour myself a glass of something while I am cooking and I like for my glass to be special.

POLSPOTTEN, Library Wine Glasses Set | $175

I've always been mesmerized by butterflies. I had a collection of them when I was a little girl. Their symmetry is calming and a reminder of the preciousness of things.

Real Framed Butterfly Displays, Mother of Pearl Salamis Parhassus | $54

I love having photography or art that features water in my home -- either a body of water or even a rainy day. It is soothing to me. I learned recently that there is some science to it. When we see water our subconscious associates it with survival. I also like this one because I wonder if people will ask if it is me in the water. :)

Hidden Cove, by Hunter Holder | from $400

I can't get enough of scented candles and I love this ceramic candle. I like to light them in the evening when I turn on the lamps. I have one in the hallway and one by my bed. Recently, my daughter smelled a lotion I wore when we lived in NYC and she shouted "this smells like my childhood!". I like to surround my children with wonderful smells that hopefully will fill their memories with sweetness.

JOYA Composition No. 1 Candle | $58.50

I like to have fresh flowers in my home as much as possible and this vase just makes me happy. Looks like it might have been picked up at an island market. It would make a fresh bouquet even more delightful.

Casa Cubista Hand Painted Stripe Aqua Vase | $62.50

These dinner plates are just so charming and I would like to pair them with a brightly colored tablecloth. LIke a bright pink or purple.

Jade Reverse Bloom Dinner Plate | $120

I always like to have ice water at the table for everyone and these pretty blue glasses feel very French and will make mommy happy to see after all of my cooking!

Caravan Bistro Glasses, Set of 6 | $47.40
